NOAA APT Satellites
NOAA APT Satellites transmit on frequencies between 137.1000 and 137.9125 MHz FM using between 30 and 40kHz bandwidth. WXtoImg will function with receivers using a bandwidth as low as 12kHz, but there will be some image degradation. Receiver sensitivity should ideally be about 0.2uV to 0.25uV. You will need a special antenna to receive the circularly polarized signals. Each satellite passes overhead several times a day for about 10-15 minutes. Check File -> Satellite Pass List… in the WXtoImg menu for a list of pass times for your location. Be sure to use the menu option File -> Update Keplers to ensure you have the latest satellite orbital information.
